May 3, 2025 was truly a full circle moment for our family. Jaipal and I stood on a stage in front of 350 people as the keynote speakers at the New Heights Big Hearted Gala and shared the struggles and victories of our family's autism journey. I felt every, "He can't. He won't," statement vanish into thin air. It felt as though a very important chapter of our lives was closing, not because we are done learning, but rather, because we have learned all the soul lessons required of us during that chapter of our lives. We now begin a new chapter, ready to learn more soul lessons. If soul power could be seen in a picture... here it is.

The principles of equality, fairness, and justice have always been very important to me. As a lawyer, I always tried my best to ensure that everyone was treated fairly, and that justice was served. When my son was diagnosed with autism, I became a passionate advocate for autism awareness, acceptance, and inclusion. My son has given me a very important responsibility--to ensure that everyone who has autism is treated fairly and justly.
